my brand represents the contrast of the ever changing night sky and the glint of bright colour that reflectS on the ocean below.

REMINISCENT OF the toucans black feathers and unexpected clash of colour.

EACH PIECE IS HANDBUILT USING BOTH COIL AND SLAB TECHNIQUES, CAREFULLY SCULPTED AND SLOWLY ALLOWED TO DRY BEFORE BEING BISQUE FIRED.

USING THE TRADITIONAL TECHNIQUE OF BARREL FIRING, MY PIECES ARE THEN CAREFULLY LOADED INTO THE BARREL WITH LOCALLY SOURCED COMBUSTIBLES INCLUDING DRIFTWOOD; AND THEIR INHERENT IRON NAILS, SEAWEED AND CUTTLE FISH BONE.

EACH SIGNATURE PIECE IS THEN HAND POLISHED USING A LOCAL BEESWAX, FOR A BEAUTIFULLY SMOOTH FINISH.
